Our History
R.D. Blankenship Dirt Work was started in 1984 by Rodney Blankenship with the desire to provide the public a certified licensed contractor in dirt work. R. D. Blankenship Dirt Work continues from Paul Blankenship's Gravel Pit, his father's business that provided Otero County with dirt work for 30 years.
Our goal is to guide you during your decision making and help service any of your project needs. Whether you are a contractor or a homeowner our knowledgeable and experienced staff is here to answer any of your questions. We can load material onto your vehicle here at our yard. We use a number of front end loaders to help make your experience at our yard timely and pleasant. We also have a fleet of trucks with experienced drivers that provide delivery service.
